To achieve our mission, we have identified some NGOs and socially responsible organizations or individuals who have made commendable contributions in these areas or are active participants in all such social causes. Ashirvadam extends all its support and financial assistance to these NGOs, organisations and individuals. Some of them are listed below:
1. A Rocha India: An associate of International organizations working towards wild life and animal conservation and protection. MOU signed to conduct study and initiate action in The Bannerghatta National Park forest measuring up total effective area to be approx. 256km2.
2. Asian Nature Conservation Foundation (ANCF): A Bangalore based NGO working for this great cause since the past 30 years. MOU is signed to conduct study and project to be initiated in the Hosur region of the Eastern Ghats landscape of southern India.
3. Ankur Vidya Mandiir (NGO) : An initiative where special and normal children are educated in a cohesive environment. Philosophy is based on the fact that special children learn a lot by observing their peers. Ankur was established in 1988 as collaboration between COER (Centre for Opportunities in Education and Rehabilitation) and DES (Deccan Education Society). The school focuses on physical, cognitive and academic activities and adheres to Maharashtra State Board syllabus in both English and Marathi medium. View Report
4. Anugraha (NGO) focuses on training differently able youth in various vocations like packaging, laundry, cooking, stitching and art. Anugraha intends to add more courses in computer, printing and music. In addition to vocational training, the candidates are also taught routine living activities like maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, money transactions and personal development. Candidates are severe cases of Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Down’s syndrome, Mental retardation etc., View Report
5. Baale Mane (NGO):. Baale Mane is a shelter home situated in rural Bengaluru, housing about 50 girl children either subjected to domestic violence or child labor, while some do not have parents to care for them. In many instances,we help these girls get back to their families, however, where this is not possible, these girls are provided with long-term support in an environment that makes them feel at home. Once the girls are old enough to leave the home, Baale Mane offers support for further studies, placements or vocational training according to their individual capabilities and interests.
6. International Association for Human Values : An international NGO with office at Geneva in partnership with Art of Living has taken initiatives for the rejuvenation of the Kumdavati river. View Report
7. Junglescapes Charitable Trust a Bangalore based NGO : Community project managing reforestation of degraded forest reserves adjoining Bandipur National Park in Karnataka, India. View Report
8. Last Wilderness Foundation a NGO based at Mumbai: works towards Village Kids' Awareness Programme at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, MP to create awareness about nature conservation and wild life protection. View Report
9. Samarthan Trust (NGO) Serving since 1997 to empower the under privileged and less able people in India, so as to prepare them to compete with the rest of the society. Samarthan Trust is affiliated to World Blind Union and the Rehabilitation International. View Report
10. Vidya Shilpa initiative by the Art of Living, one of the largest Volunteer based NGOs in the World: It aims to provide value based integrated education support to Government Slum School children presently running in 8 schools with more than 2000 children in Bangalore. Watch Video
11. World Wildlife Foundation (WWF-India): MOU has been signed for Addressing Human Elephant Conflict in the Western Ghats of Nilgiris Landscape, facilitating effective management and prevention of Man-Elephant conflicts.
